The Girl

Greetings! I'm Kori. 

I am a California girl living in the Bay Area. 

I am currently in my very 1st year as a 5th grade teacher! 

I started this blog as a way to share my lessons and stories while gaining wisdom from fellow teachers. 

I'm also trying  my best to stay "trendy" on a suuuper tight teacher's budget. Although, you may not want  to take any tips from me when it comes to pants...my student said mine look like an old lady's! 

Oh well. 

I also enjoy running, Crossfit, reading, and being with my family, friends, and boyfriend. You'll probably see a little of each of those as I go along as well. 

Oh, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis holds a special place in my heart. Learn more about this amazing hospital and help the kids when you can!
